Mikhaila Fogel is a J.D. candidate at Harvard Law School and an assistant editor at Inquest. She is a student attorney with the Health Law and Policy Clinic, a Teaching Fellow for First-Year Criminal Law, and the deputy submissions editor for the Harvard National Security Journal. She has also worked as a legal intern at the Committee for Public Counsel Services, where she assisted attorneys representing indigent clients in criminal cases across Cambridge, Somerville, and Malden. Prior to law school, she worked as an associate editor at Lawfare, a research analyst at the Brookings Institution, and a legislative correspondent for foreign affairs at the United States Senate. Her writing has appeared in Lawfare, The Atlantic, and The Negotiation Journal.
