Pamila Lew

Pamila Lew is Policy Counsel at Disability Rights California. She challenges the incarceration of disabled people in jails, prisons, and immigration detention, as well as putative healthcare settings such as psychiatric hospitals, residential facilities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and nursing homes. Prior to joining Disability Rights California, she was a trial lawyer with the Los Angeles County Public Defender’s Office. A graduate of UCLA Law School, Pamila received her formative training at the Koreatown Immigrant Workers Alliance and the Incheon Urban Industrial Mission.
