Days get so long in here.
I don’t know what to do.
Sometimes I don’t even come out of the room.
I stay in
thinking about the world.
Where I want to get back to.
I’m up all night looking out of the window.
Staring at the moon.
It’s past 6, the sun will be up soon.
Daylight is coming.
I’m praying I’ll be home soon.
Until then I’ll stay strong and keep doing push-ups
in my dark room.
Days come and go
but I’ve got to stay true.
I’ve got to get my mind right
because I’ll be home soon.
Days need to go by fast.
So I can make it home soon.
