Alice Ievins is a lecturer in Sociology, Criminology and Social Policy at the University of Liverpool, where she researches imprisonment and the ways it is (and isn’t) related to justice. She is also a Visiting Scholar at the Prisons Research Centre, University of Cambridge. She is the author of Stains of Imprisonment: Moral Communication and Men Convicted of Sex Offenses.
