Daven McQueen teaches in the Department of Language & Literature at Cape Cod Community College. They were previously Assistant Editor of Inquest. They earned an MFA in Creative Writing at Emerson College and a BA in Literary Arts and Economics at Brown University. Their first novel for young adults, The Invincible Summer of Juniper Jones, was published in 2020, and their writing can be found in Two Thirds North, Autostraddle, and elsewhere.
