Janae Thomas, Ph.D., Esq., is a licensed attorney in Florida, Texas, New York, and Washington, D.C. She earned her Ph.D. in Politics and International Affairs from the University of South Florida in 2023. Her research focuses on Stand Your Ground laws. In addition to her academic work, she serves as an associate attorney at Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer and as a professor of American Government at Hillsborough College.
