Jessica T. Simes

Jessica T. Simes is an assistant professor of sociology at Boston University. Her research examines the broad consequences of mass incarceration for communities and neighborhoods in the United States, and racial and health disparities in criminalizing and punitive experiences. She received her B.A. from Occidental College, and her M.A. and Ph.D. in Sociology from Harvard University.
