Ji Seon Song

Ji Seon Song is a professor at the University of California, Irvine School of Law where she teaches and writes in the areas of criminal law, criminal procedure, juvenile law, and policing. Her current research focuses on the intersection of carceral institutions and health care. She previously worked as a public defender, specializing in the representation of young people held in long-term placement and detention facilities, and youth charged in adult criminal court.
