Jonathon Booth is an associate professor of law at the University of Colorado Law School where he teaches courses on criminal law and legal history. His article “Policing After Slavery: Race Crime and Resistance in Atlanta” was published earlier this year in the University of Colorado Law Review and his latest article, “A New Satanic Panic,” is forthcoming in the Yale Journal of Law and Feminism. He is currently working on a project about the colorblind white supremacist legal regime that governed the South during the decades between Reconstruction and Jim Crow.
