Julia Lorentsen

Julia Lorentsen is a J.D. candidate at the University of Wisconsin Law School and an assistant editor at Inquest. She is a student attorney with the newly established Eviction Defense Clinic and a Graduate Teaching Assistant for the Department of Political Science. Julia has also worked as a legal intern for the Orleans Public Defenders, where she assisted criminal defense attorneys representing indigent clients facing charges carrying the penalty of life without parole. Prior to law school, Julia worked as a voter registration campaign organizer and middle school language arts teacher in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Julia holds a B.S. from Northeastern University and an M.Ed. from Marquette University.
