Lee Kovarsky is the Bryant Smith Chair in Law and the Co-Director of the Capital Punishment Center at the University of Texas Law School. He writes about, among other things, the death penalty and habeas corpus. Several Supreme Court opinions cite his work, as do many lower court decisions, and he remains an active capital litigator.
