Lisa Haber-Thomson

Lisa Haber-Thomson is a historian whose research explores the entanglements between architecture and law, with a focus on the development of English common law between the seventeenth and nineteenth centuries. In parallel, she is interested in how architecture becomes implicated in contemporary legal practice, especially with regards to human rights discourses. Lisa will be joining Mount Holyoke College as an Assistant Professor of Architectural History this fall.
