Lydia Villaronga

Lydia Villaronga is a PhD student at the CUNY Graduate Center in the Urban Education department. Their research interests include self-directed education, political identity development, and participatory democratic movements. Outside of graduate school, they are a language arts educator, a youth development specialist, a poet, an artist, and an amateur botanist planting seeds and sprouts in the Tennessee River Valley.
