Matthew McLoughlin is an activist and legal worker who cut his teeth as an organizer with Occupy Chicago. For the past twelve years, he has helped lift up, document, and support local and national movements to end mass incarceration. He is a cofounder of the Chicago Community Bond Fund and helped pass the Pretrial Fairness Act, legislation that will make Illinois the first state in the country to end wealth-based jailing.
