Norman Gaines

Against all odds, Norman Gaines Jr. went from being an incarcerated teenager, sentenced to serve life imprisonment without the possibility of release, to a free man and honor student currently maintaining a 4.0 GPA , aspiring to become a renowned urban trauma therapist. He is a member of the New England Commission on the Future of Higher Education in Prison. He is also member of the Second Chance Re-Entry Initiative Program (SCRIP) which provides mental health services, counseling, housing, and jobs for the formerly incarcerated.
