Riyah Basha

Riyah Basha is a second-year student at the University of Michigan Law School and an assistant editor for Inquest. She serves as a student attorney with the Michigan Innocence Clinic, and previously worked at the State Appellate Defender Office and Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office. Riyah earned her B.A. in public policy from the University of Michigan, where she focused on reentry and carceral studies.
