Robert Lee Williams is an incarcerated journalist and essayist. He has written for Literary Hub, the Prison Journalism Project, Plough Quarterly, the Freedom Reads Blog, PEN America, and Slate. He lives in Napanoch, New York, at Eastern NY Correctional Facility, a maximum-security prison, where he attends Bard College. His earliest release date is in 2030.
