Sarah Cate is an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Seattle University and author of The Myth of the Community Fix: Inequality and the Politics of Youth Punishment. Her research focuses on mass incarceration, criminal justice reforms, and political economy. She is a member of the Debs-Jones-Douglass Institute Working Group on Policy in the Public Good.
