Sebastian Miller

Sebastian Miller is a 2024 graduate of Harvard Law School, and a 2018 graduate of U.C. Berkeley. Previously, he clerked at the Environment and Natural Resources Division of the U.S. Department of Justice, and at the Division of Public Rights in the California Department of Justice. While at Harvard, Sebastian wrote extensively about the relationship between prisons and the environment, culminating in work which appeared in volume 137 of theĀ Harvard Law Review, where he was an executive editor. This essay is an abridged adaptation of his Note, entitledĀ Climate Carceralism: The Future of Climate-Linked Prison Labor.
