Vanessa Van Doren

Vanessa Van Doren received her MD from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, where she was active in local and national access-to-care and anti-racism organizing through Students for a National Health Program and White Coats for Black Lives. She completed internal medicine residency training at Emory University School of Medicine and is currently an infectious diseases fellow at Emory. As an Emory resident, she was a leader and founder of her residency program’s Churchwell Diversity and Inclusion Collective Advocacy Branch, which is a space for Emory internal medicine residents to envision and advocate for structural change in our program and communities.
