William “Bill” Kissinger is the author of the forthcoming 47 Winters, director of the Prison Reform Project, and a member of the Board of Directors of Floridians for Alternatives to the Death Penalty (FADP). In 2023, he was released from Louisiana State Prison after serving forty-seven years on a life-without-parole sentence. He now lives in Florida. Follow him on Bluesky.
