Monica Bell is an associate professor of law and sociology at Yale University. Her scholarship examines and theorizes systemic racial inequity and injustice across multiple dimensions, including in policing, experiences of violence, housing and neighborhoods, family formation, and policymaking, with an intersectional lens and a focus on legal and policy responses.
