Paul Butler is the Albert Brick Professor in Law at Georgetown University Law Center and a legal analyst on MSNBC. He is author of Let’s Get Free: A Hip-Hop Theory of Justice, which received the Harry Chapin Media award, and Chokehold: Policing Black Men, which the Washington Post named one of the fifty best nonfiction books of 2017. It was also a finalist for the 2018 NAACP Image Award for best nonfiction.
